CONCORD, N.H. — An Irish reinsurer has asked a New Hampshire federal judge to dismiss for improper service a lawsuit filed by TIG Insurance Co. demanding more than $2 million in reinsurance proceeds.
In its Jan. 16 motion to dismiss filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire, EIFlow Insurance Ltd. contends that TIG sent the summons and complaint to a law firm that has not been designated as EIFlow’s agent to receive service of process.
