ALBANY, N.Y. — Utica Mutual Insurance Co. is urging a New York judge to reconsider his denial of its motion for summary judgment on a counterclaim seeking to bar the law firm of Hunton & Williams from representing Utica in an arbitration.
In an Oct. 6 motion for reconsideration, Utica says the reinsurer failed to present evidence that the law firm had access to its privileged information while representing Utica and its reinsurers in an underlying coverage dispute.
