SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A Missouri federal judge has refused to compel arbitration of a breach of contract dispute, finding the movant failed to establish the existence of a valid arbitration clause between the parties.
On June 12, Magistrate Judge Sarah W. Hayes of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri found the party opposing arbitration presented ample evidence that it never accepted the agreement containing the arbitration clause.
