Jury Awards Stonebridge Casualty $5.8 Million on Tire Program Reinsurance Claim

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — A Florida federal jury has returned a $5.8 million verdict in favor of Stonebridge Casualty Insurance Co., finding brokers Nation Motor Club (d/b/a Nation Safe Drivers) and its affiliate National Adjustment Bureau liable for a reinsurance claim arising from a tire loyalty rewards program insured by Stonebridge.
On March 24, 2014, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida entered a Final Judgment on the jury verdict in the amount of $5,809,940.
