LITTLE ROCK — An Arkansas federal judge has denied cross-motions for summary judgment in a dispute over whether a broker authorization agreement required Aetna Global Benefits Ltd. to make brokerage payments to Global Risk Intermediary LLC after terminating the reinsurance contract.

On March 12, Judge J. Leon Holmes of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas found the broker authorization agreement is unclear concerning Aetna’s payment responsibilities to Global Risk.
