N.Y. Federal Judge Vacates $57 Million Award in Light of Foreign Court’s Vacatur
NEW YORK — A New York federal judge has granted a motion by the Government of the Lao People's Democratic Republic to vacate a $57 million arbitral award issued in favor of a Thai contractor, finding a Malaysian court’s reversal of the award did not violate the basic notions of justice.
