NEW YORK — A New York federal judge has transferred a discovery dispute concerning whether Everest Reinsurance Holdings Inc. must produce reinsurance information in connection with underlying coverage litigation pending in the Northern District of Georgia.
On Jan. 23, Judge Katherine Polk Failla of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York ruled that the motion to compel, filed by Federal Deposit Insurance Co., is better decided by the Georgia court, which has already issued one ruling concerning discovery in the coverage case.
