Conn. Federal Judge Grants Excalibur’s Motion to Seal Documents in Reinsurance Dispute with Travelers

HARTFORD, Conn. — A Connecticut federal judge has granted Excalibur Reinsurance Corp.’s motion to seal certain portions of the deposition transcript of its vice president Diane Ferro, finding it contains “sensitive business information” that should be kept confidential.
On Nov. 26, Judge Charles S. Haight Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut also granted Excalibur’s request to seal portions of unredacted documents filed by Travelers Insurance Co. that contain Excalibur's confidential business information.
