NEW YORK — A New York federal judge has refused to dismiss a suit brought by Greenlight Reinsurance Ltd. against a managing general agent and a Bermudian retrocessionaire in connection with four reinsurance and retrocession contracts, finding the claims are ripe for adjudication.
On July 25, Judge J. Paul Oetken of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York found Greenlight has alleged sufficient facts to present a "direct and immediate dilemma.”
