Hinshaw & Culbertson Partner Shaves Head For Cancer Research

Edward K. Lenci, a partner with Hinshaw & Culbertson in New York, shaved his head on St. Patrick's Day to raise more than $2,500 for childhood cancer research. The event was hosted by St. Baldrick's Foundation, the world's largest volunteer-driven fundraising program for childhood cancer research.
St. Baldrick's was started by reinsurance excecutives Tim Kenny, John Bender and Edna McDonnell, who, in 1999, shaved their heads in solidarity of children with cancer. Since then, thousands of volunteers have raised nearly $44 million in donations by participating as "shavees" in events held on or around St. Patrick's Day. For more …
