TIG Demands $338,130 from Suncorp Metway in Amended Complaint

CHICAGO – TIG Insurance Co. has filed an amended complaint against Australian reinsurer Suncorp Metway Insurance Ltd. in Illinois federal court, demanding payment under two reinsurance certificates covering policies issued to Foster Wheeler Group.

In the Nov. 20 amended complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, TIG asserts that Suncorp owes it a total of $338,130 under two facultative policies issued by Suncorp’s predecessor, State Government Insurance Office (Queensland).
