MADISON, Wis. — A Wisconsin federal judge has allowed Utica Mutual Insurance Co. to file supplemental materials showing that the court has subject matter jurisdiction over whether a law firm may represent it in a reinsurance arbitration against National Casualty Insurance Co.
On Nov. 8, Judge Barbara B. Crabb of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin also gave both parties the opportunity to file supplemental materials on the question of whether the court may enforce Pennsylvania's and New York's rules of professional conduct in deciding the question.
