NEW YORK - A New York federal judge has confirmed a reinsurance arbitration award issued in a dispute over the calculation of Hurricane Ike losses, ruling that the arbitrators did not manifestly disregard the law in refusing to hear certain evidence proffered by the cedent. ACE American Insurance Co., et al. v. Christiana Insurance LLC, No. 11-8862 (S.D. N.Y.).
