NEW YORK - A New York federal judge has refused to reconsider her ruling banning the law firm of Freeborn & Peters from representing Insco Ltd. in a pending arbitration with Northwestern National Insurance Co. Northwestern National Insurance Co. v. Insco Ltd., No. 11-1124 (S.D. N.Y.).

On Nov. 10, Judge Shira A. Scheindlin of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York ruled that "newly-discovered" testimony from Insco's former arbitrator, Dale Diamond, does not provide any new information that would change the outcome of this case.
