NEW YORK - An arbitration panel did not exceed its authority or act in manifest disregard of the law in ordering a reinsurer to pay attorney's fees, a New York federal judge has ruled in confirming the $239,946 award in favor of General Security National Insurance Co. In the Matter of the Arbitration Between General Security National Insurance Co. and AequiCap Program Administrators, No. 10-8682 (S.D. N.Y.).
