CHICAGO – American Medical Life Insurance Co. has asked an Illinois federal judge to compel deposition of Guarantee Trust Life Insurance Co.’s former chief executive officer, asserting that he adopted an approved a reinsurance deal that GTL claims never ripened into a contract.
