Gen Re Exec Graham Sentenced to 1 Year in Prison, Fined $100,000

HARTFORD, Conn. - A Connecticut federal judge has sentenced former General Re Corp. executive Robert Graham to one year and one day in prison and fined him $100,000 for his participation in a fraudulent scheme involving General Re Corp. and American International Group Inc. United States of America v. Ferguson, et al., No. 06-137 (D. Conn.).
In an April 30 order, U.S. District Judge Christopher F. Droney of the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut also sentenced Graham to two years of supervised release and fined $100,000. Graham, who was Gen Re's senior vice-president and assistant general counsel …
