MARSHALL, Texas -- According to a notice filed recently in Texas federal court, a scheduling conference has been scheduled for Jan. 6 in a benzene case involving claims that exposure to Safety-Kleen's parts washer caused a former mechanic to develop myelodysplastic syndrome. Foray, et al. v. Safety-Kleen Systems Inc., et al., No. 08-412 (E.D. Texas).
The recent filing in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas also outlines proposed deadlines for docket control order, which include an August 3, 2009 trial date.
