WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- A defendant in a North Carolina solvent case has filed four motions to exclude the testimony on admissibility grounds, contending that all four of the plaintiff's experts fail to use generally accepted methodologies in reaching their conclusions. Stromberg, et al. v. Ashland Inc., et al., No. 07-332 (M.D. N.C.).
In a series of motions filed Nov. 21 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina, Ashland Inc. seeks the exclusion of testimony from Vernon Eugene Rose, Ph.D.; Melvyn Kopstein, Ph.D.; Arthur Frank, M.D.; and Woodhall Stopford, M.D.
