Fuel Truck Driver Files Benzene Complaint in Nevada

LAS VEGAS -- A former truck driver has filed a benzene action in Nevada state court, contending his exposure to gasoline caused him to develop myelodysplastic syndrome. Lewis v. Rebel Oil Co., et al., No. A566869 (Nev. Dist. Ct., Clark Cty.).
The complaint was filed earlier this year in the Nevada District Court for Clark County, by Rick D. Lewis, who was allegedly exposed to benzene and other toxins while working with gasoline, solvents and other hazardous chemicals during his employment as a fuel truck driver.
