KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- The parties in a Tenn. benzene case have filed a joint motion to reset the trial date and discovery deadlines in the case, contending that more time is needed to prepare expert opinions. McCarter, et al. v. Amoco Oil Co., et al., No. 06-141 (E.D. Tenn.).

According to the Nov. 12 motion filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee, the parties asked the court to reset the currently scheduled March 2009 trial date.
