CHICAGO -- A case brought by a printer who allegedly developed chronic myelogenous leukemia and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma as a result of exposure to benzene has ended in a confidential settlement between all parties, sources told HarrisMartin. Trawinski, et al. v. Sun Chemical Corp., et al., No. 06L002353 (Ill. Cir. Ct., Cook Cty.).
George Trawinski said his work at Standard Rate and Data Service for more than 30 years exposed him to benzene-containing products, including blanket, type, press and roller washers, according to an amended complaint filed in the Illinois Circuit Court for Cook County.
