LOS ANGELES -- A California jury has reached a defense verdict in favor of Chevron U.S.A., Unocal and Shell Oil in a rubber worker benzene case after deliberating for four days, HarrisMartin Publishing is reporting. Molina, et al. v. Shell Oil Co., No. BC367800 (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).
The Los Angeles County Superior Court jury reached the 9-3 verdict on Nov. 5 after a five-and-a-half week trial.
