Remaining Parties in Non-Hodgkin's Benzene Case Settle on Eve of Trial

LOS ANGELES -- The remaining parties in a California benzene case have reached settlement agreements shortly before trial was scheduled to begin in Los Angeles, sources tell HarrisMartin. Garcia, et al. v. Allied Diagnostic Material, et al., No. BC310867 (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).

Opening statements in the Los Angeles County Superior Court were scheduled to start the week of Oct. 27, according to the sources. However, before trial commenced, the plaintiffs and the remaining two defendants in the case reached a settlement agreement.
