- Molina Complaint
LOS ANGELES -- A trial has begun in California in a case asserted by benzene plaintiffs who claim that exposure to rubber solvent products led to the development of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, multiple sources confirm to HarrisMartin. Molina, et al. v. Shell Oil Co., No. BC367800 (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).
The Los Angeles County Superior Court began jury selection on Sept. 22, sources said.
The underlying claims were asserted by William and Angelina Molina, who contend that William's work at Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. for nearly 20 years caused him to develop non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
