BATON ROUGE, La. - A benzene plaintiff has filed a motion seeking the dismissal of a defendant in a barge exposure case, according to recently filed court documents. Leger, et al. v. Exxon Mobil Corp., et al. No. 06-502 (M.D. La.).
In an Aug. 19 motion filed in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana, the plaintiffs seek to dismiss U.S. Steel Corp. with prejudice, saying that the disputes between the parties had been resolved.
