WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- A defendant named in a benzene complaint has filed its second action against a third party it claims is responsible for exposing the decedent to toluene. Stromberg, et al. v. Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., et al. v. ExxonMobil Chemical, et al., No. 07-332 (M.D. N.C.).

On June 2, defendant Fisher Scientific filed a third-party complaint against Worth Chemical Corp. in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina, claiming that a recent deposition of one of the decedent's former supervisors identified a chemical purchased by Worth Chemical Corp.

This is the second third-party action …
