EAST BATON ROUGE, La. -- A benzene lawsuit has been filed in Louisiana state court, alleging that exposure occurred on numerous oil and chemical refinery premises. Temple, et al. v. Exxon Mobil Corp., et al., No. 567024 (La. 19th Jud. Dist. Ct., Parish of East Baton Rouge).
In the complaint, filed in May in the Louisiana 19th Judicial District Court for the Parish of East Baton Rouge, the plaintiff contends that the decedent developed acute myelogenous leukemia as a result of the exposure.
