SEATTLE -- A former shipyard worker and his wife have filed a benzene action in Washington, claiming that the worker's anaplastic large cell lymphoma was caused by a variety of chemical exposures. Ferguson, et al. v. Monsanto Co., et al., No. n/a (W.D. Wash.).

The April 4 complaint, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington attaches an exhibit listing the numerous chemicals to which the plaintiff was exposed, including benzene, gasoline, jet fuel, MTBE, naphtha, toluene and lead paint.
