EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. -- A new lawsuit was filed recently in Illinois containing allegations that work as a machinist, tool and die maker and laborer at manufacturing facilities wrongfully exposed the plaintiff to benzene. Ivkovcic v. BP Products North American Inc., et al., No. 08 L 94 (Ill. 3rd Jud. Cir. Ct., Madison Cty.).
Steve Ivkovcic filed his lawsuit on Feb. 7 in the Third Judicial Circuit Court for Madison County, contending that his work with Naptha and Liquid Wrench led to his development of acute myelogenous leukemia.
