TYLER, Texas -- Among the places a former laboratory technician alleges he was exposed to benzene was the Houston Ship Channel, a recent complaint filed in Texas says. Oakley, et al. v. Air Products and Chemicals Inc., et al., No. 07-351 (E.D. Texas).
In the lawsuit, the plaintiffs invoke the discovery rule, contending that they did not discover the cause of one of the plaintiff's illnesses until less than two years prior to the Aug. 16 filing in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
