North Carolina Court Approves Parties' Discovery Proposal

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- A discovery schedule and guidelines proposed by parties in a North Carolina myelofibrosis benzene case have been signed by the federal court. Stromberg, et al. v. Ashland Inc., et al., No. 07-332 (M.D. N.C.).

On July 18, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina approved the Joint Rule 26(f) Report submitted by the parties.

In the July 10 report, the parties agreed that discovery would be limited to plaintiff's work, education, medical and family histories, as well as product identification, defendant's knowledge, liability, business practices and damages.
