TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- An Alabama court has granted a plaintiff motion to voluntarily dismiss a benzene lawsuit against all defendants with prejudice. Hinton v. Troy King, et al., No. 07-140 (Ala. Cir. Ct., Tuscaloosa Cty.).
The Circuit Court for Tuscaloosa County granted the motion on July 27. The plaintiffs moved to dismiss the case on July 26, shortly after the defendants had filed a motion to dismiss on statute of limitations grounds.
In the motion to dismiss, the defendants said that the plaintiff's attempts to change the state's statute of limitations laws have already been "soundly and repeatedly rejected." …
