Washington Case Transferred from Western to Eastern District Court

SPOKANE, Wash. -- The U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington has transferred the acute myelogenous leukemia claims of a former trucker to the state's Eastern District Court. Henricksen, et al. v. Chevron Phillips Chemical Company, No. 07-224 (E.D. Wash.).

The order was signed on July 5 by Judge Robert S. Lasnik.

Neil Henricksen claims that he developed acute myelogenous leukemia after being exposed to benzene for more than 30 years while employed as a tanker truck driver.
