JACKSON, Mo. -- A Missouri plaintiff has filed a motion for enforcement of discovery, seeking testimony relating to the compensation of an expert who is participating in a benzene-related Shanghai, China study. Reed v. BP Corporation North America Inc., et al. No. 04cv209341 (Mo. Cir. Ct., Jackson Cty., Div. 16).
The motion filed recently in the Circuit Court for Jackson County says that the information is necessary to determine Dr. Otto Wong's "professional objectivity and pecuniary bias."
