DALLAS -- A Pennsylvania resident has filed a lawsuit in Texas, contending that his work as a machine operator exposed him to a benzene-containing ExxonMobil product. Morales v. Exxon Mobil Corp., No. 07-0795 (N.D. Texas).
The May 3 lawsuit filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas says that Exxon Mobil Corp. and ExxonMobil Oil Corp. -- the only two defendants named in the original complaint -- knew the dangers of putting benzene in the solvent the plaintiff alleges exposure to.
