SEATTLE -- The plaintiffs in a Washington state action have been asked to provide more specific details relating to the exposure to benzene-containing products alleged to have taken place at Boeing. Smith v. 3M Co., et al., No. 06-2-10994-5KNT (Wash. Super. Ct., King Cty.).

On Jan. 23, the Superior Court for King County also entered an order dismissing defendant GE Betz Inc. with prejudice.

The complaint was asserted on behalf of James Smith, who the plaintiffs contend was exposed to benzene-containing products while employed at Boeing for more than 20 years.
