Supplier of Benzene-Containing Products Files 3rd Party Lawsuit

WELLSBURG, W.Va. -- SAL Chemical Co., Inc. has filed a third-party lawsuit, contending that the manufacturers of benzene-containing products are liable for the failure of their products. Smith, et al. v. SAL Chemical Co., et al.; SAL Chemical Co. v. American International Chemical, et al., No. 05-C-211 (W.Va. Cir. Ct., Brooke Cty.).

Filed recently in the West Virginia Circuit Court for Brooke County, the third-party complaint seeks defense and indemnification for any costs incurred as a result of the underlying litigation.
