TYLER, Texas -- A Texas federal court has granted an Arizona couple's motion to file an amended complaint, just months after denying defense objections to jurisdiction on the ground that no one location would contain all necessary sources of proof. Overson, et al. v. Berryman Products, et al., No. 06-114 (E.D. Texas).
In the amended complaint filed Sept. 15 in the Eastern District of Texas, Rock and Cyndee Overson claim that Rock's work as an automobile mechanic for nearly 20 years at Independent Import Care exposed him to benzene-containing products.
