LOS ANGELES -- Plaintiffs have filed an amended complaint in a California benzene lawsuit after a judge granted a demurrer to the complaint with leave to amend. Marsolais, et al. v. Does 1 through 1,000, inclusive, et al., No. BC332581 (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).
In a Sept. 1 notice of ruling, Univco Properties notes that its demurrer to the plaintiffs' first cause of action for premises liability was sustained by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Andrea K. Richey, with leave to amend.
