WILMINGTON, Del. -- Plaintiffs in the Delaware benzene litigation have asked the court overseeing the coordinated docket to delay the first scheduled trial group, initially proposing that the three cases in that group be tried with the six cases organized in the second trial group. In Re: Benzene Litigation, No. 06C-BEN-1 (Del. Sup. Ct., New Castle Cty.).
However, sources told HarrisMartin that the plaintiffs have since amended their Sept. 7 motion to propose that only five cases total would proceed in the second trial group, specifically the three Group 1 cases and two of the six Group 2 cases. The …
