TYLER, Texas -- A federal court has reconsidered a motion to transfer venue in a Texas benzene case and has determined that factors such as site of exposure and witness location work in favor of a transfer to Arizona. Overson, et al. v. Berryman Products, et al., No. 06-114 (E.D. Texas).
In a Nov. 8 order, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas also granted a plaintiff motion to dismiss defendant Canyon State Oil Co.
