KANSAS CITY, Mo. --A Missouri Circuit Court has awarded summary judgment to General Electric in a benzene case, finding that the testimony relating to the defendant's product was taken before General Electric was even named as a defendant in the case. Greene v. Ashland Chemical, et al., No. 03CV231458 (Mo. Cir. Ct., Jackson Cty.).
The Circuit Court for Jackson County on July 20 determined that General Electric was not given a chance to participate in the deposition of Ronyon Greene, thus justifying summary judgment.
