Former Friction Products Worker Files Benzene Lawsuit

PANAMA CITY, Fla. -- A former friction products worker has filed a lawsuit in Florida state court in which he claims that his exposure to several benzene-containing products has caused him to develop acute myelogenous leukemia (AML). Davis, et al. v. The Gildden Co., et al., No. 06-2856 (Fla. Cir. Ct., Bay Cty.).
According to the Florida Circuit Court for Bay County docket, the plaintiffs on Dec. 12 asked the court for an extension of time to complete service.
