TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- The representatives of the estate of a deceased tire worker filed a lawsuit in an Alabama state court on Feb. 16, claiming that the decedent's 30-year employment at a tire manufacturing facility exposed him to benzene. Griffin, et al. v. Troy King, in his capacity as the Attorney General of the State of Alabama, et al., No. 06-216 (Ala. 6th Jud. Cir. Ct., Tuscaloosa Cty.).
