HOUSTON -- A Texas couple have filed a lawsuit in which they claim that their son died more than 10 years after he was exposed to toxic chemicals. Kent, et al. v. Occidental Chemical Corp., et al., No. 2006-14619 (Texas Dist. Ct., Harris Cty.).
The complaint was filed March 2 in the Texas District Court for Harris County.
Plaintiffs James and Lauri Kent assert the claims on behalf of their son, Shane, who they claim was exposed to toxic chemicals from 1989-1990, when Shane was an infant. The Kents claim that this exposure caused Shane's February 23, 2004, acute lymphoblastic …
