Ink Supplier Moves for Summary Judgment, Says Product is Safe

LOS ANGELES -- An ink supplier named in a benzene lawsuit has moved for summary judgment, claiming that the decedent in the lawsuit did not perform duties that would have exposed him to the defendant's product. Charles, et al. v. Gans Ink & Supply Co., et al., No. BC326572 (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).

Kramer Ink Co. filed the motion for summary judgment on March 8 in the California Superior Court for Los Angeles County.

The plaintiffs in the lawsuit bring the claims on behalf of Philip Charles, who they claim died of acute myeloid leukemia. Charles developed AML …
