New Judge Appointed in Coordinated Delaware Cases

WILMINGTON, Del. -- A new judge has been appointed to oversee the coordinated benzene proceedings in Delaware, sources told HarrisMartin.

Sources indicated that Judge Joseph R. Slights III is now overseeing the more than 20 benzene cases pending in the Delaware Superior Court for New Castle County.

Judge Susan C. Del Pesco of the Delaware Superior Court for New Castle County was asked by the plaintiffs to recuse herself because of her husband's involvement with DuPont, sources told HarrisMartin.
