LOS ANGELES - Plaintiffs recently settled with three benzene defendants, leaving just Chemcentral Corp. as the remaining defendant in a lawsuit over the death of a former aircraft painter. Loyola, et al. v. Union Oil Co. of California, et al., No. BC280498 (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).
On Jan. 17, plaintiffs Xavier and Cordelia Loyola reported to the California Superior Court for Los Angeles County that they had reached settlement agreements with three defendants at a Jan. 11 mediation session.
