Plaintiffs Set to Respond to Admissibility Challenges in North Carolina Case

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Plaintiffs in a North Carolina benzene case are slated to defend their expert witnesses in responses by Dec. 29, sources told HarrisMartin. Stromberg, et al. v. Ashland Inc., et al., No. 07-332 (M.D. N.C.).
The plaintiffs' responses will address motions to exclude the testimony of Vernon Eugene Rose, Ph.D., Melvyn Kopstein, Ph.D., Arthur Frank, M.D. and Woodhall Stopford, M.D., which were filed last month in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina.
Ashland is the lone defendant left in the proceedings, which were asserted on behalf of Donald Stromberg, whom the plaintiffs …
